James Bentley Jones was born in Charles Co., Maryland, in 1762, son of Samuel & Esther Jones.

In Oct. 1780, James was living in Colchester, Fairfax Co., Virginia, and he enlisted as a volunteer private soldier in the Revolutionary War under Capt. West & Col. John Hoe.

He served with and knew Gen. Washington. He served through several tours for 28 months total, and was honorably discharged in 1783. (Rev. War Pension #S*W5008)

Frederick Keister, Jr. was born in Strasbourgh, Germany, in 1730, son of Frederick Keister, Sr. (b.1704)

Frederick Keister, Jr., came from Germany as a young boy on the ship "Virginia-Grace" on Sept. 24, 1737, and first settled in Lancaster & York Counties, Pennsylvania.

Thomas Drake, Sr., was born in Piscataway, Middlesex Co., New Jersey, on July 13, 1728, son of Jonathan Drake Sr (1689-1754) & Mary (Clawson) Drake (c1686-1762). He likely spent his early years in colonial New Jersey, eastern Pennsylvania, and Loudoun Co., Virginia.

At the age of 31, he married Miss Eurah (Humphrey) in Chester Co., Pennsylvania, on March 4, 1760 (by LDS Ancestral file) & October 14, 1760 (by Pennsylvania Marriages).

William was born on 13 September 1747 at St. Mary’s Church, Oakley, Bedfordshire, England. William arrived in the colonies, from England, in 1774. His arrival place in the colonies was Maryland, as an indentured servant. His occupation was a carpenter. William married Mary Currier in 1787 and they had 2 children, William L. Hart and James Hart.

William was a private in Captain Ewing, Baltimore Co., Md. Militia Co. #4.

Name of Patriot: Patrick Archer NSSAR Patriot # P-332072

Patrick Archer, was an Irish Catholic and weaver by trade who settled at Fort Jackson, which is presently Waynesburg, Pennsylvania, sometime after 1774. His son, Capt. James Archer was the first to settle there and then convinced his father and family to move there possibly from Maryland. The name of his wife is unknown but his children were: James, Joseph, Michael, Simon, Elizabeth Wells, Polly, Nancy and Jacob.
